Proliant 1600 w/ Win2K3
I'm sure it's been asked/answered previously, but this is a new issue for me. I have a Proliant 1600/600 that will soon be retired from 5 years of faithful NetWare service. I'd like to install Windows Server 2003 on it and use as secondary storage & with minor aps. Does CPQ/HP have drivers available for this server to run Win2K3?

Re: Proliant 1600 w/ Win2K3
I havent tried it on my 1600 but 2k3 had all the drivers for my Proliant 7000.
Unless you have real oddball hardware 2k3 will pick it up.

Re: Proliant 1600 w/ Win2K3
Mike,
I'm running 2K3 on two 1600/500's with no problem at all. They are both dual processors with 512Mb ram, fibre array and fibre ethernet. I keep my 1600's around just to test policys for active directory.
