Proliant 1600R NIC Issue

I've just installed Windows 2003 server. All is well except the onboard NIC is not functioning. The Windows 2000 driver from the HP web site does not work. Does anybody know where I can the 2003 drivers?

Re: Proliant 1600R NIC Issue

Hi Arnold,
Latest driver for the onboard NIC of a Proliant 1600 under W2K3 is contained in CP003625.exe.
I suppose this can be found on HP's site.
Let me know if this is not the case and you need a copy.

Thanks, Daniel. I just downloaded the file and will give it a try this weekend.

Re: Proliant 1600R NIC Issue

I had this problem too, so in case there are others, here is the URL for the driver you require:

http://h18007.www1.hp.com/support/files/networking/us/download/18113.html

I ran the installer, rather than use the Windows 'Have Disk' function, and the NIC worked perfectly!
:)

Re: Proliant 1600R NIC Issue

To be specific, the CP003625.exe driver software supports many ProLiant NetFlex/Netelligent Adapters in a Windows 2000 & Windows Server 2003 environment (In case anyone is searching the ITRC archives).

The URL in my previous post provides all the details of which NICs are supported by the Driver software.
