Proliant 2500R - Can't boot from CD-ROM
For some reason we can't user our Smart Start (or any bootable CD for that matter) on this server. We can only find windows array configuration utils on the site, which we can't use until we configure the array?
Does any one know a trick to booting off those smart start cd's or another way to get our array configured so we can install win2k server?
thanks

Re: Proliant 2500R - Can't boot from CD-ROM
hmmm my brain says that this old server only supports booting from CD 's wihich use a floppy image as boottrack.
("El Torito ?")
2nd thing i can remember is that this server use a scsi cdrom drive.
I hope that helps you, i havent seen PLT2500 for years.
