Proliant 3000 Hang
We have a Proliant 3000 running NT4.0 which is hanging. We've cycled power on the server a number of times, but it immediately hangs once it comes up. On one occasion we did get a blue screen with:
***STOP: 0x000000D1 (0x000000C, 0x00000002, 0x00000001, 0xF73E9CE5)
DRIVER: IRCQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL.... ***
(incomplete error message).
The server is now up, but hung. Any ideas? I opened a hardware call, but the tech said it was software related.

Re: Proliant 3000 Hang
Hi Jeffrey,
It sounds like you ahve a memory issue. try to strip down the server to single memory and reboot the server one at a time until the server hangs, that way you can find out which memory stick is causing the problem
IF YOU HAVE A THIRD PARTY MEMORY I GUARANTY YOU THAT IS ONE OF THE PROBLEMS
1. Take all memory except one in first slot and power up server, if server comes fine with no blue screen or hang got to step 2, otherwise change memory stick and keep trying until server boots
2. add one memory stick in to the system and boot again
3. keep doing this until you get the bad memory stick
Regards
