Proliant 3000 with 3200 Array get init failure cmd=11h, err=020h
It never gets to Windows so I don't think it is the same as that blue screen problem for compaq arrays after applying the security roll-up. Besides I already updated the driver for that issue 3 months ago.
Also, it is not apparent how to open the case on this machine. Any hints would be appreciated.
Thanks!

My SA3200 initialization takes about 5 minutes then ;
1783-Slot 4 Array Controller Failure!
I get the same error in all of the 4 available slots.

Re: Proliant 3000 with 3200 Array get init failure cmd=11h, err=020h
it has been corrupted.
you will either have to replace controller or better still reprogram the firmware on the 2 earoms on 3200 with known good copy.

Well, how can I do that? I have THREE controllers with the same problem!

Re: Proliant 3000 with 3200 Array get init failure cmd=11h, err=020h
unplugged all cables from card and still got the error. i put the card in a different machine and it booted up just fine.
i flashed the bios of the array controller from
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/14694.html
it was running an older version.
works fine now.

Re: Proliant 3000 with 3200 Array get init failure cmd=11h, err=020h
Well... i got this same error, i was building one DL858 with one P800 controller to connect one HP StorageWorks.
There´s some tricks that you can try:
1. Change the card slot
2. Turn the server on without the cables (SAS)
3. Upgrade the Firmware, in my case i resolved the problem doing the Firmware upgrade you can take this here: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/DriverDownload.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=3288124&taskId=135&prodTypeId=15351&prodSeriesId=3219717〈=en&cc=us
Install some OS in your server, execute the .exe and restart the server, and finally do the smart array configuration with the Smart Array 7.70
