Second-user Proliant 800 PIII 500 - just powered it on and everything is in French. How do I reset it??

Adrian,

The Proliant 800 PIII 500, utlizes utility software that is specfic to the machine. You will need to run this software in order to configure the software. What I did to mine is to utilize a dos boot-up disk. Start the computer with the disk inserted and go into fdisk delete the partitions and then establish a primary partition, restart the computer again and at the A:\ prompt type: format C: this will format the hard drive and you will be able to reboot and reload an operating system.
