Proliant DL 140
This server has a display problem but everything else works fine.
is there a way of installing a display card or do i have to replace the board or is there another way of solving the problem.
Your assistance will be highly appreciated

Integrated ATI RAGE XL Video Controller with 8MB SDRAM Video Memory
DL140 G2

Integrated ATI RAGE XL Video Controller with 8MB SDRAM Video Memory
- They both use the windows drivers
- check in device manager and see what driver is listed and the type for your monitor.
- try to use standard monitor or install drivers for monitor etc.
- Possible also reduce the monitor refresh rates etc.
- get the latest driver for the card from ATI>
Don't know what display issues you have; Please explain further and where the problem is.
Alos what monitor you are using and the drivers version fro the Video and monitor.
- Also the firmware for the server and if it is G1 or G2.

Please note that the server does not display anything at all. Its like it does not send a signal, as in the monitor connected to it shows a orange light.
