Proliant DL servers (DL360/380) software update apps

Hi,

The servers are generally Server 2003 and were installed using Smartstart and default management software that was installed along with that.
I'm looking for an application to check HP software components and update them, ideally a stand-alone application.
I've found something called Proliant Support Pack which might fit the bill but I'm unsure as there are so many apps available for these servers. Much of them are 'Insight', which I don't know much about but seems to be a bit of a suite needing some sort of application infrastructure.

If someone can point me in the right direction, that would be great.

Yes, the ProLiant Support Pack is what you'll need to monitor/configure your servers with or without supporting infrastructure (HP Systems Insight Manager).
