Proliant DL160 G5

Hi!

I have setup a Proliant DL160 G5 Server with FreeBSD 7.1-STABLE. So far everything is working fine except the PS/2 keyboard and mouse when connected to a KVM Switch (ATEN ACS-1216A).

I cannot access ROM Setup/BIOS and after the OS has booted the keyboard is sporadically usable.

When connected directly to the PS/2 ports the problem does not occur.

Latest BIOS is installed.

Hi,

I have the same issue.
Did you find any workaround for the same?

Thank You..

Re: Proliant DL160 G5

Only a workaround: I am using a PS/2-USB Y-Cable now.

ukbd1: on uhub2 kbd1 at ukbd1

ums1: on uhub2
ums1: 5 buttons and Z dir.

I had to set moused_port and keyboard in /etc/rc.conf. Because FreeBSD also finds:

ums0: on uhub0
ums0: 8 buttons and Z dir.
ukbd0: on uhub0
kbd0 at ukbd0

No idea what piece of hardware this is.
