Proliant DL320 G2 Megaraid large drive 48 bit support

Are there any firmware updates to support larger then 128 GB ATA drives for the DL320? I've scoured HP's site, tried their phone tech support (they cut me off), searched google (groups and web) and storagereview.com. I found a firmware update on LSI Logic's site for their MegaRAID ATA 133-2 controller, but from what I've read, HP's firmwares are proprietary and not to try any other firmwares.

We purchased this server last year and I can't believe that with 48 bit support standard on most machines made in the last 2 years, that the DL320 doesn't have this.

I'm downloading the 494 MB Smartstart CD v7.2 just to humor myself.

Has anyone found a solution for this?
