Proliant DL360 G5 ADS Imaging Issue

I have successfully booted to the DA in ADS using PXE and the Broadcom NetXtreme II monolithic driver for the NIC>

When I start to capture an image, I receive a "Failed to open volume" error in ADS. There is information out there about changing the IRQ on the storage controller, which I did.

During boot, the controller comes up as a Smart-400i, but the driver Windows 2003 is using is hpcisss2.sys, I beleive this is a Smart-600 driver.

What is the resolution to this?

Thank you,

Re: Proliant DL360 G5 ADS Imaging Issue

Hey Kevin,

You will need to copy over of the hpcissm2.sys and hpcissx2.inf files over to your repository. These files contain the drivers for the P400, P400i, and the P600. After copying the drivers over don't forget to bounce the Deployment Agent Builder Service. I just went through this on a DL380G5 (same RAID and NIC cards).
