Proliant DL385 G5 - Error 614 Power Supply Mismatch Error
Proliant DL385 G5 (United Kingdom purchase)
At boot time, BIOS reports exactly as follows:
"614-Power Supply Mismatch Error - System Halted!"
BIOS boot sequence stops at this point and server will respond only to a warm boot (CTL+ALT+DEL) -- no other keystrokes do anything.
2 PSU's installed; both report as present and Good in the BIOS Main Screen setup.
I am trying to ascertain if this is a BIOS/Firmware/software issue, or if there is in fact a genuine incompatibility between the two PSU's and therefore I must replace one to match exactly with the other.
Any and all advice most gratefully received.
With thanks
Robert
