Proliant DL740 Hangs with no reason and then is not responding
Proliant DL740 Fresh Install of win2003 SP1
Motherboard already changed.
DB SERVER.
The server got blocked for intervals of 3 or 4 hours so i need to restart the server.
I checked the event viewer 0x805000f.
No leds alarm.
System Management homepage shows NICS Link Down Before get locked out.
Please Help!

Hi Josue:
How many processors are installed on the server.
also the memory;
it looks like a processor lockup to me.
possible overwored processor or defective cache on the processor.
update the firmware and see if that resolves the issue.
