Proliant DL760 G2 Dead ?

I have here a Proliant DL760 G2, with the following equipment: 8x1.5Ghz Xeon, 2.5GB RAM, 2x 1150W PSU, no HDDs, 1x CD, 1x floppy.

For the moment it unfortunately does not start no more. Actually it is nearly dead.

Both power packs were exchanged initially approximately knowingly to function.
If both (or only 1 PSU) PSUs are attached.
- lights emergency power LED
- Interconnecnt LED are out (function however (there if the modules are taken out, these shine)
- LCD display indicates firmware version too

System cannot be switched on however!
The power button already test.(
It functions 100%)

All contacts were examined, there are no short-circuit everwhere!

I am grateful over each assistance, since the server has no more warranty unfortunately for one year.

Hi, do you try with basic options?, try with minimum memory and only one processor, if server up correctly add part by part to discard one defective memory or processor.

Now, but it unfortunately does not change nothing at all. Server strikes still.

As note perhaps still: the power LED in front top of power button is out (but it functions, it´s tested)

Re: Proliant DL760 G2 Dead ?

Well, do you check if all jumpers and switches are with default positions?
Are you reset the CMOS configuration?
At last, can you check internal parts in other similar server: memory, processor, pci cards, etc?

Hello again,

have you a sparepart number for me?
The DL760 G2 has three Mainbaords...
1. PCI/X I/O Board
2. Processor Board
3. Midplane
