Proliant ML 350 (333373-001) RAID question
I have a customer with a ML350 G3 running Novel 6.5 and they wish to increase the hard disk size of the server. I have 2x 72.8GB drives to install for them but I am wondering if I can somehow add these 2 new drives to the existing RAID setup so that Novell simply sees and increase in its volume. Currently the server has two mirrored 8GB drives, can I add the new drives to this configuration or will I need to create a new volume altogether?
Any suggestions welcome.

Re: Proliant ML 350 (333373-001) RAID question
In Novell 6.5, you can add the drives as either individual drives in hardware, or also create another mirror from the two drives added. Either way, you can extend the existing volumes to include the new drives or new mirror. It would be good to follow the Novell documentation on doing this update.

Harry, thanks for the reply, was hoping to not have to touch the Novel at all as I am not very familiar with the product these days. Thanks for your advice though.
