Proliant ML350 Smart Start version
I'm rebuilding a Proliant ML350 1.0GHz server (W2k) as a W2003 Server. I need to set the HDs as 3 drives. I'm having trouble determining which version of Smart Start I need to use. My server has 4-36.4 HDs but I need to set up 1 as the OS/programs drive, 2 as data drives, and 1 as a transaction log/temp drive. This config was a recommendation from ESRI when using SQL Server and ArcSDE. I can press F8 during startup to set logical drives but it doesn't allow to set up multiple drives. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance.

Re: Proliant ML350 Smart Start version
Maximum 5.5 SS CD
Drives can be set as separate Logical drives under same Array or Different array, If f8 missing from POST and you have Integrated Array controller - you have to Update firmware to 1.5
