Proliant ML350 UID Light
Hello all,
I have a Proliant ML350 G3 that has suddenly picked up a blinking UID light, i looked into it and seems that it is for when someone is remotely controlling the server using ILO, though this was strange as there is no ILO port on the back of the server. I have installed insight to see if that helps and in the tasks pane, the unit identifier light is set to : blinking and cannot ba changed.
Please help me as i am at a loss to what is causing this, and i need to return the server to a customer who will want to know why there is suddenly a flashing blue light on his server.
Cheers
Nick

Re: Proliant ML350 UID Light
Normally, the UID can be enabled/disabled by pressing the UID button. The LED is also a button. Alternatively, you can enable/disable the UID from the System Management Homepage.
