Is there some way I can get notified of a hard drive failure via email?

If you install any Operating System with Smart Start you can configure the option to do this...

Hi;
Friend.

I will suggest you if you require the notified of a hard drive failure via email ?
You can install the Application Name ISEE which is provided by HP.
From this application you can get the Failure or Degraded errors reports Generated &
It will send you the Logs via Email of any Hardware Failure in the Servers.
From this Application you can get all the Failure & Degraded reports.
