Proliant ML370 G3 excessive fan noise...
Dear Friends,
We have purchased two ML 370 G3 servers one month back. Suse Linux 9.2 Prof. is loaded on them. Since day one, we are facing the problem of excessive fan noise. Two servers' noise is almost unbearable. The computer room temperature is around 23 - 26 C, during day time.
Would be very pleased to receive some help from you'll in this regard. Do email me on plascio@citizengulf.ae for more details or other queries.
Thanking you'll.
Best Wishes,
Plascio

Hello,
Here's the download page for the ML370 G3 for all OSes:
http://h18004.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/family/model/4307.html
Select your OS and download the ProLiant Support Pack. That will have all the latest drivers and agents.
If you just want the heath driver, it's also listed seperately as a download.
Regards,
Stephen

Re: Proliant ML370 G3 excessive fan noise...
Hi,
I guess theres a link to the 'HP Advanced System Management Controller Driver' for Windows 2000. Just use google to search for it. The problem is we are having both servers running Suse 9 Professional. Still searching for the Linux drivers....
Do let me know if you find it..
Best Regards,
Plascio
