Proliant ML370 Gen2 SmartStart Failure

We just purchased a used Proliant ML370 Gen 2. I updated to Rom to P25, and made a SmartStart 7.40b cd. On attempting to boot from the cd it fails stating "fatal exception in interupt handler not syncing"

Now what?

Thanks.

It sounds like you need to find an OEM version on S.S.....

Re: Proliant ML370 Gen2 SmartStart Failure

After reseating memory and processors, and clearing nvram it works great. It is now running great with Win Server 2003 R2. I don't know how an OEM disk would be any different....
