Hey there you guys,
I am in the need for a hdd on the HP Storage Works.
The drive is a:
72.8 15K Ultra320 SCSI
I haven't been able to find a good place to buy any from. I would have thought HP would carry them?
If you could help out at all that would
be great.
Thanks

Solution
Hey Bob,
Which Product are you referring to...?
Google "Dl380 G4 quickspecs" for example.
& you will get the Option part for the Hard Drive.
Then goto, http://partsurfer.hp.com/cgi-bin/spi/main
& select your region/Country & order parts.
Regards.

Re: Quick hdd question
Thanks for that Happy.
Let me give a little more info.
We have both a:
-DL 380
-DL 560
I'm pretty sure they are Gen 3.
However the dead drive is on the adjoining
HP Storage Works.
I'm pretty sure what I need is this linked to one of these product codes.
-286778-B22
-3R-A3851-AA (this one says(2-5-2 sku)next to it). I'm not sure exactly what that means or if there is a difference in the drive themselves.
Now I couldn't find a place to purchase the drive from HP, but I did find another place, that has a very nice price from the looks of it. I'll research the company to see if it's a safe by however.
I just want to pass this buy you to make sure I'm buying the right drive.
Thanks for all the help in advance,
Bob

Re: Quick hdd question
Yes Bob,
286778-B22
Drive (Product) : 72.8GB universal hot-plug Ultra320 SCSI hard drive - 15,000 RPM - Includes 1-inch, 80-pin drive tray
Seems correct.
Regards.
