RAID over RAID
Hi, i have a proliant dl 380 with six hard disk , i need create two arrays raid-5 with 3 hard disk each raid and then joining the two arrays in a raid-1
As you can do this? ...is possible?

Ignacio,
no this is not possible at the H/W level. What you can do is to S/W mirror those two RAID5 arrays.
What you could do at H/W level is create a raid50 over the six disks but that might not be what you want and it depends on what smartArray controller you are using to have the feature available i think.
