RE: New Server with Legacy PCI card

HI

Please help/advise

I have been asked to replace an old server that we have with a rack mounted one.

The problem is I have an old PCI Industrial lecacy ethernet card that I need to put back in.

Is there any new HP servers out there that would be able to support this.

I believe we are using PCIe G2 X8 expansion cards now.

Any help would be much appreciated..

RE: New Server with Legacy PCI card

Talk about outdated.

Have you thought about P2V (physical 2 virtual) the server? ESXi is free. It might ease the need to keep the old card.

Why do you need that particular pci card?
