RHEL ES 5 DVD-ROM installation media can't boot up Proliant DL380 G5
I am trying to install RHEL ES 5 on a Proliant DL380 G5.
Server does not contain DVD-ROM driver for RHEL ES 5 which comes in a DVD media. I've tried RHEL ES 5 rescue CD boot and it boots up the system but it also reques RHEL ES 5 media on CD media at the end and does not accept DVD media. I also checked DVD media content on an another system and it seems OK.
What is the process to install RHEL ES5 on a G5 system? The machine does not have a floppy drive and it seems it doesn't recognize that it has a DVD-ROM drive instead of a CDROM drive?
Thanks for any tips or pointers to docs on how to doc this.

Re: RHEL ES 5 DVD-ROM installation media can't boot up Proliant DL380 G5
Irfan,
Download the Smart Start CD image from below link, burn and boot from that CD, then it will provide you an option to deploy server, configure RAID and select what OS you need to install, select the appropriate oS and when asked you insert the OS DVD.
The Setup process will copy all the content of your OS DVD to Temp location and eject the Disk, then you can remove and keep it in safe place.
Installation will go thro semi-automated with some user intervention.
