Red internal health light, amber PPM 2 light
Proliant ML350, G5 server.
When I power it on, the internal health light is red, and the PPM 2 light is amber. We do not use PPM 2. I have replaced the motherboard, and the problem persists.
Linux OS, 1.6 ghz Xeon, 2 GB memory, 2 72 GB drives.

Re: Red internal health light, amber PPM 2 light
Hi, even though you don't use PPM2, I think that you need to have something sat in the slot (like a dummy card) which is why the light is amber. If you've a card in it, try re-seating.

Re: Red internal health light, amber PPM 2 light
That's likely not the issue, because we deal with literlly hundreds of these servers every week, and none of them have anything in that slot, and this is the only one giving me the issue.
