Re: Remote desktop port number

Remote Desktop Protocol is 3389.

How you want to access?

1. First you should be go to your router, Depend on the router options., then

i. Click on NAT

ii. Click on Port redirection and enable.

iii.  Default port is 3389 its a private port, but be careful if you assign as using globally should be assign public port e.g. 22445 or any number.

e.g.

Service Name: RDP

Protocol : TCP

Public port : 22445 assigned by you to globally accesible

Private IP: 192.168.2.3 ( Your Server IP or accesible server )

Private Port: 3389
