SA 641 Controller Failure on soft reboot, ok on hard reboot
Hello,
I'm installing a Proliant ML370 G4. After installing a Smart Array 641 and 3 x 146.8GB Ultra320 10k drives I configured a RAID 5 array. The problem is that if the server is rebooting soft (ie during Windows 2003 installaion after copying files the setup reboots automatically) I get the SmartArray 641 Controller doing its /\/\/\/ and after some time I get the error Array Controller Failure cmd=11h, err=020h. If I power cycle using the power button (Hard reboot) the array controller detects the array fine and continues to boot. This is all new kit right out of the box. Any Ideas?
