[SATA] AHCI for ML110G2 ?
Hello,
I have problems with Sata storage HDD connected through a Sata amovible rack:
Every day, I shutdown the the pc and replace the hard drive with its twin, for backups purpose.
Once replaced, I start back the server and when Windows comes up, the drive has disapeared.
I need to go to the Drives management window, and give a letter.
The driver files for both "Intel(R) 82801FB Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 2652" and "Intel(R) 82801FB/FBM Ultra ATA Storage Controllers - 266F" are:
atapi.sys, pciide.sys, and pciidex.sys.
I heard about AHCI, but i do not know wich driver fits for ML 110 G2 (win 2k3 server).
And i wonder if I will not experience BSOD after updating the driver, because system disk is also a Sata one.
Thank you
