SCO Unix 5.0.x installation on Server TC3100

why can't i install SCO unix 5.0.6 on my server TC3100. there is a message that says "WARNING: no root controller was found". i've done the two workaround that is being suggested here i.e. changing the restart string during OS installation (restart link=slha sdsk=slha(1,0,0,0) srom=wd(0,0,0,0)) & toggling the boot order in the SCSI configuration utility but still it won't work
