Sata embedded raid 5 configuration.

Sata embedded raid 5 configuration.

Dear Sir,

We have purchased new ML 110 G5 servers with three 160GB sata hard disk. When i try to configure Arry configuration.. I don`t see the Raid 5 option. So please help me if i can configure raid 5 with sata embedded raid configuration.

It is possible that your new ML 110 G5 requires an array accelerator card with battery back to allow for RAID5. It is a question for HP presales server support, or might be even seen from the Smartstart disk that came with the server.
