Server OS installation "HELP"
I have an issue with my HP Prolient-DL385 server, in that i am trying to install an Windows XP pro and when i get to the setup menu,I get a meesage saying that "setup did not find any disk drives installed - make sure hard disks are powered and connected and that disk-related hardware configeration is right". I have a number of servers in the domain, though this particular server needs to run on XP. If anybody could please shed some light on this issue I would be very greatful and would relieve me of alot of stress as I am not much of a whizz kid in this area. Many thanks to all!!

Re: Server OS installation "HELP"
setup did not find any disk drives installed error message generally occur if the disk drives are not getting detecting
-> Try to boot from the smart start cd and then configure the array then try installing the OS
-> Or during the installation F6 and install the raid driver..
This would help u in getting the hard disk getting detected
