Show SQL on DL380 G5
I have a SQL 2005 server there is running very slow.
When I run SQLIQ (http://www.microsoft.com/Downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9A8B005B-84E4-4F24-8D65-CB53442D9E19&displaylang=en) I get this:
sqlio v1.5.SG
1 thread reading for 30 secs from file testfile.dat
using 2KB IOs over 128KB stripes with 64 IOs per run
size of file testfile.dat needs to be: 8388608 bytes
current file size: 0 bytes
need to expand by: 8388608 bytes
expanding testfile.dat ... done.
initialization done
CUMULATIVE DATA:
throughput metrics:
IOs/sec: 1280.73
MBs/sec: 2.50
The disk is in raid 10 (4 10K) and with 2 disks on eats controller.
The P400 is running with firmware 4.12 B and SAS/SATA Controller Driver 6.10.0.32
When I run SQLIO on my dell 2850 server (raid 10) I get this:

Is the battery for the SA-P400 attached and functional? If not, you'll see reduced cache performance.

Re: Show SQL on DL380 G5
It├в s a P400 with 256 MB and without battery.
But its have the same low performance if I use IOmeter and only test read IO.
I have submit a case to HP.
