Slow networkperformance on ML350G3

I have a ML350G3 server with a Gigabit HP NC7781 networkadapter.

When i look in the properties of the adapter on the advanced tab, I only can choose: 100mb full duplex or auto, but not 1000mb full

When i copy 4 gbyte of data to my workstation with a Intel Pro/1000MT desktop adapter over a 3com baseline 3c16475 switch it takes about 2 hours.

Can anyone give me a solution for this?
