Smart Array 3200 error - data stored in Array Accelerator memory.

Hi at all I get the following message and I don't know how to solve it.

The Compaq Smart Array 3200 Controller in Slot 1 has valid data stored in Array Accelerator memory.

The data will be written to the drives once the controller becomes idle.

In event viewer:
The device, \Device\ScsiPort0, did not respond within the timeout period.

Please help me.

Re: Smart Array 3200 error - data stored in Array Accelerator memory.

Yes I have already restarted server (why twice?) yesterday but problem still there, anything seems working well but this warnings and the message in event viewer is not a good thing, examining event viewer

Do you have any idea about the origin of this trouble? (Yesterday I have unplugged and replugged Smart array 3200 and cables.

To complete information:
right now event viewer I have seen that it reports also:

System Information Insight Agent: Compaq Health: Post Errors Detected.

Now users are working...and I cannot restart it. maybe at launch time.

There is a way for delete some events in event viewer?

thank you for answer.

Had you tried yesterday - Clear NVRAM and mark from IML as repaired?
All Firmware Up to date ?

Re: Smart Array 3200 error - data stored in Array Accelerator memory.

I have restarted and no messages on POST screen, controller 3200 is correctly initialized, disabled memory acceleration in Array config utility and now I don't get more the message :

The Compaq Smart Array 3200 Controller in Slot 1 has valid data stored in Array Accelerator memory.

The data will be written to the drives once the controller becomes idle

But in event viewer I still has message:

The device, \Device\ScsiPort0, did not respond within the timeout period

How clear NVRAM? which nvram server or smart array controller?

How to update bios of controller 3200?

thank you for your help.

Re: Smart Array 3200 error - data stored in Array Accelerator memory.

I have updated firmware from 4.16 to latest 4.50 but in event viewer still present the :

The device, \Device\ScsiPort0, did not respond within the timeout period

All is working except this message.

So if I will change the smart array 3200 controller with new one same model, what I have to do for preserve RAID 5 (3 disks) configuration and don't reinstall all from zero?

thank you.
Paolo.
