SmartStart 5.50 not booting on Proliant 6400R

Anyone have any suggestions on getting SmartStart 5.50 to boot on a Proliant 6400R??

I've got two 6400R's and an 1850R that won't boot this software. I've burned the disc a number of different times, down to 4x, and also re-downloaded and re-burned the ISO.

I've got a much older SmartStart 4.5 that the servers will boot. I've also made sure to update the Rom to current.

Anyone have a link to a SmartStart 4.9 ISO set?...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Just chiming in.

I also have a 6400r that I want to revive, but no luck with SmartStart 5.50.

Nope! Unfortunately, I never could get the serverst to boot 5.50.

I obtained an original 4.90 though, and now have the servers up and running.

You could try looking on Ebay for a 4.9 disc set.

I got mine with a brand new SmartArray 4200 raid controller that I got to replace a bad 3200.

Works great with the 4.9!
