Teaming Issue on ML570 G1

I have installed 2 NC7170 Gig adapters in ML570 G1 server.They have the most current driver 8.6.11.0. When I install the teaming software HP Network Config Utility 8.20.0.0, I get the error "The installation procedure did not complete successfully." I can add the Protocol in the Properties of the NIC, but when I launch the HP Network Config Utility and try to team the NICS, it attemps to Team, and fails. I think there was an old version of the Teaming software installed before and may be causing the problem. Is there any way to remove the old version manually? Other than "Uninstall" from the Nic Properties section? Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.
