UPS XR5500 shutdown question

Dear,

We have build a new infrastructure based on HP hardware which includes an HP UPS XR5500 with additional management modules to implement a shutdown scenario when we there is a power loss.

Recently a question came up:
The left side of the rack is connected directly to the power. The right side of the rack is connected to the UPS.
Let's say the power on the right side drops and the UPS takes over for a certain amount of time. We programmed the UPS management module that the Servers need to shutdown when the battery of the UPS =50%
BUT! The power on the left side of the rack is still present?

Is the UPS intelligent enough to recognize (maybe through the Power protection agent) that the left side of the rack is still under power and the shutdown does not need to proceed?
