Unknown Compaq HSV110 Scsi Array device on DL 360 G5
I have built 2 servers a DL380 G4 and a DL 360 G5, both servers connect to an EVA 5000, the DL380 G4 recognizes the HP StorageWorks EVA 5000 Storage Array Controller Device, but the G5 does not recognize the device and displays a COMPAQ HSV110 Compaq scsi array device as an unknown device.
Both servers are built identical with the same smartstart and firmware version 7.60 with windows 2003 R2.
My question is why is the device not recognized on the G5 and where are the drivers located?
Any help would be appreciated

Re: Unknown Compaq HSV110 Scsi Array device on DL 360 G5
Since you did not specify which VCS version you have, try this link:
http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareDescription.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodTypeId=12169&prodSeriesId=321347&prodNameId=359820&swEnvOID=1005&swLang=8&mode=2&taskId=135&swItem=co-37579-2
Do you have matching HBAs in both servers, or do you have different ones? The HBA driver, firmware and fabric switch firmware and the controller firmware all interact, so any one item along the path could be the problem, but my bet would be on the HBA driver, since it identifies the controller, but can't talk to it. for G5 drivers check here:http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/locate/69_6215.html
You might have to drop back to a 2GB HBA and driver. The above links should get you to EVA and G5 locations for software and firmware.
