What encryption method is used to store ILO passwords

Password is cashed info at ILO, from OS - you can't retrieve password - all communication 128
Only RILOE (one) used 40 and 128

Thanks I was talking about the ILO "Administrator" password etc. That is stored.

If this is a server with the ILO built into the system board, the username and password is usualy incripted into the system board.
When you rreplace the system board it comes with a tag with the new password on it.
If you have lost your I am sure HP must have a system of match password to serial numbers.

Thanks. Our internal audit people need to know how the iLO passwords are stored on the board. ie. What encryption is used.
