Windows 2003 in ML150 G3
As there is no slot for FDD in server. I have installed USB FDD. While installing W2K3 server, it picks up drivers from floppy when I press F6. Now the setup goes till partitioning and formating. but after formating HDD, system again ask for SCSI StorPort driver and here its not picking up drivers from FDD. It looks like, its not detecting the FDD.

Re: Windows 2003 in ML150 G3
The issue relates to HP being fussy about the type of USB FDD, it needs to be USB 2.0.
Basically a Sony or Toshiba will fail. HP of course want you to buy their FDD which does work. I have had success with a generic FDD drive.
You have 2 choices, spend money on a HP drive or slipstream the drivers into the install CD. The best slipstreamer I know is nLite - http://www.nliteos.com/
Have fun.

Re: Windows 2003 in ML150 G3
Hi David, I have already brought the FDD and installed Windows 2003 in ML 150 G3. But, anyway, thank you so much for your reply.
