Windows 2k3 blue screens on startup - NextFlex3.sys error
Guys,
I recently installed (a couple months ago) a copy of the Windows 2k3 Enterprise Edition on my Proliant 1600. I have been getting the infamous blue screen of death on startup and the error points to the NetFlex3.sys network card driver.
I've tried installing an updated driver for it, but still get the blue screen. Is it going to be necessary to do a complete reinstall or is the NextFlex card the problem?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

Re: Windows 2k3 blue screens on startup - NextFlex3.sys error
Dave,
Netflex is probably the prolem.
Latest driver for a Netflex in W2K3 is contained in cp003625.
Had the same problem because in registry the connector-type was set to AUI/BNC instead of UTP.
Make UTP the default and the problem will disappear.
