Windows NT Server

Is there a way to reset the administrator password if I'm locked out on an NT Server?

Re: Windows NT Server

Brian:

I have used a utility from the Passware Suite of tools in the past called Windows XP / 2000 / NT Key. It works great usually. I've had trouble with Windows 2003, and never tried on Windows NT4... but it works great for Windows 2000.

See here for more info... http://www.lostpassword.com/windows-xp-2000-nt.htm

It requires the NT4 CD and a little bit of time to run through the set up process. You don't actually re-run the whole set up so there is usually no possibility of data loss, at least none that I have seen.

Re: Windows NT Server

hi brian,

download from this site http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ the iso image files. after to have created the disc of ultimatebootcd parts with the cd to the boot of the serveur and you will find the shielded one begins them, to this point you reward F3 and you go on "OFFline NT password and registry editor".

good fortune
