Windows XP Pro SP2 Installation Problem
Hi all. I'm from Greece and I have a serious installation problem.
I bought the ML110 G3 Ploliant with extra 80 Gb SATA disk. I also bought the Windows XP Pro SP2 OEM.
I created a RAID array and i set the bios with RAID on "IDE configuration".
I also have a USB Floppy Device.
I found the sata raid drivers on the support CD and created a floppy disk with these drivers.
When I press F6 on the Windows Setup to search for extra RAID drivers, the windows setup finds the drive but cannot find the drivers to continue ("Setup cannot find th txtsetup.oem")
What can I do to show the raid to the Windows Setup so I can use the RAID option ?
Thanks a lot

Re: Windows XP Pro SP2 Installation Problem
Hi There,
There are no RAID drivers for Windows XP because desktop operating systems are not supported on servers. My recommendation is to use a Network Operating System such as Windows 2000 Server.
Sorry I couldn't be more help,
Sean T. Craig Sr. C.E.T., M.C.P.
