compaq proliant ML350 booting problem

Greetings,

I have compaq proliant ml350 server. since three days, there is a strange problem appear.
the server switch-off suddenly (although it is connected to UPS), and if I try to switch it on, it does not respond and the led in the front panel orange light. if I remove the power cord and retain it back, the server looks booting (with nothing on the screen) but for 4 seconds then it go back the same state with no response. leave it for a while, try to start it agin, it start normally, RAM check is ok, Booth CPU check are ok.
yesterday I shutdown the server, then try to start it, but bo resonse, I leave it for 2 hours, then strat it , it works!

Hi Mueed,

Seems like a OverHeat issue.
Once the server dies, & U try to power on check for any LEDs on the system board.

If you check the integrated management log in the O/S (with the viewer installed) you should see a log entry if it's overheated.

It can also be viewed from the System management homepage.
