expaning array on ml370 with 5i controller

Hello,
I have a Windows 2000 server which has a RAID 5 array that I would like ot add drives to.
When I add the drives to the array, I wanted to expand the logical drive, but I got an error message saying that this was not supported in Windows 2k.
My current logical drive is partitioned into C and D partitions. What I wanted to do was add space to the array, and expand the D partition with Paragon Disk Manger.
Can this be done, or do I need to make a second logical drive and have windows use this as yet another partition, or set a mount point?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hello Whoolly,

1.Add the new disks to existing array(Array A).

2.Add the additional storage to the existing logical volume(Volume A).

Pg 5-7

3.Use diskpart utility to extend the data volume(D:\ in your case). Also be aware C:\ can't be extended via diskpart.
