floppy boot disk via ILO media on DL585G2

I am unable to get my 585G2 to boot from a floppy disk via ILO virtual media. I have standard DOS 6.22 boot files on the disk. The remote console ILO session sees my floppy drive on my desktop with no problem. It starts to connect to the floppy drive to boot from it and then it fails. I've tried several different diskettes. I need to boot to DOS to run teh ACR utility for image automation. Any suggestions?

Have you tried making an image of the floppy disk? Have you tried it on another desktop?

Also, have you got the latest firmware on the ILO & rest of the server? Run the firmware update CD...
