how to configure RAID mirroring on DL320 G2 slotless SCSI ?

ProLiant DL320 G2 with optional slotless SCSI module installed and working OK for a long time with 1 drive

now I added a second drive and I can't manage to create a two-drive mirroring RAID

ACU says no controllers detected.

hitting F8 at startup for controller options (on HP Ultra 3 SCSI adapter; ie: on the slotless SCSI board) brings options for multi-initiator settings and tape recovery options but nothing about managing drives.
