how to create hardware mirror on BL490-G6

server doesn't give any option to enter array configuration utility during startup. SmartStart ACU can't detect storage controller. Installed windows with all HP support options, ACU can't detect storage controller.

The BL490c G6 doesn't contain an array controller. What you are probably seeing is the HP Embedded SATA Controller--which doesn't offer RAID. I think it is a Broadcom chipset SATA controller.

State that is has "(1) Integrated SATA RAID", but I do not see this on the units that I just received.

So.. Can I do a raid1 on this server, yes or no?

Was anyone able to get this to work? what's the point of having 2 internal disks if you can't even mirror them?

I just talk to a HP Specialist. He told me that is not possible to do it. Not even on G6 server.
