iLO MTU Settings

Hi everyone,

Can anyone tell me where i can tweak the MTU settings of iLO network? We're having intermittent connection drops and our network team is insisting it is not a network problem. I'm thinking it might be related to MTU, if you have any other ideas i'll welcome them.

Be sure to use latest ILO firmware

Try to manually force speed/duplex on both card and switch if not already done.

You can also try another network cable.

Thanks for your reply. Our firmware version is 1.71. Can you suggest any troubleshooting procedure to identify if this is an iLO problem or network problem?

First, try changing network cable

Second, try a direct connection between a laptop using a crossover cable.

Third, update ILO firmware

Fourth, force 100 Full on both ends.

Depending on result, you will find where is the problem.

Can be many things but you have no choice to troubleshoot yourself...
