installing windows xp to ml110 g4 no hard disk detected

i am trying to install windows xp sp3 to my ml110 g4 but when the cd boots it reaches a stage that say windows unable to determine whether hard disk are present therefore aborted automatically. there are 2 SATA 160GB HD so why cant it be detected?? can anybody help. i have seen people installing to g3 . is g5 different? thanks
